01 / SERVICES
AJ Car Recovery Birmingham provides vehicle recovery, roadside assistance and planned vehicle transport. The exact service depends on the vehicle, its condition, access, location and destination. We may decline or change the proposed method where continuing would be unsafe, unlawful or unsuitable for the equipment available.
02 / QUOTES & PAYMENT
Any price is based on the information you provide. Additional distance, waiting time, access restrictions, incorrect vehicle details or work beyond the agreed scope may change the price. The operator will explain material changes where reasonably possible. Payment terms are confirmed when the booking is agreed.
03 / ARRIVAL ESTIMATES
Arrival times are estimates, not guarantees. Traffic, weather, road closures, emergency incidents, access and earlier recoveries may affect timing. We will provide updates where practical.
04 / YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You must provide accurate vehicle, location, access and destination information; confirm that you are authorised to request recovery; keep keys and required documents available; and tell us about locked wheels, steering damage, fluid leaks, lowered suspension, loading restrictions or other relevant hazards.
05 / CANCELLATIONS & WAITING
If you cancel after dispatch, a call-out or cancellation charge may apply. Waiting time caused by unavailable keys, blocked access, absent contacts or a destination unable to receive the vehicle may also be chargeable where agreed or reasonably incurred.
06 / VEHICLE CONDITION & LIABILITY
Pre-existing damage and the condition caused by a breakdown or collision remain part of the vehicle's existing state. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to applicable law, responsibility is limited to loss directly caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
